Norbu Tea med roast Ali Shan Oolong winter '08

This tea is great. I don't really consider it "medium roast" it's more like a "light roast" to me but that's just me. The taste was a buttery chestnut. it had a good mouth feel not thin, not heavy, just right. I have to give props to GREG for this one, ya hooked me up brother, thanx again!

Norbu 2010 Xue Dian Mei Lan - Yunnan Green Tea, Custom dark roasted by me.

As a green tea it was a Baozhongish type of tea, Floral and sweet but more like a typical Yunnan green in the fact that it had a pleasant vegetal taste. Now all of that natural sweetness has been brought to the top with the roasting now it has a "berryish" taste along with a sweet vegetal taste in the later steepings. This has been turned into a AWESOME tea and almost reminds me of a dark roasted Oolong.

Hou De 2009 Spring Taiwan San Xia Black Tea, Hand-harvested

Complete honey water! this tea is absolutely fantastic! It has a woody natural flavor going on also but it's mostly honey tasting. I got 3 healthy steeps out of it before it died on me but those three were completely off the hook!
I give it a solid 90!

Adagio Teas Yunnan Gold

Adagio Teas Yunnan Gold brewed in my new Kokoro pot.

Killer tea! first off, this tea is very thick in the mouth, very syrupy. I'm getting a strong caramel note and some kind of fruit, maybe a persimmon and i'm defiantly getting sandalwood? anyway, this tea is very "dark" feeling. great morning tea, nothing better to wake up to than caramel water!
