Gong fu'd an Assam mangalam estate FOP! One Tbsp per 8oz water. This is dope as shit yo! I'm catching some serious walnuts and red wine in this steepin'! Brought the water up to boiling then poured it into a Pyrex cup and let it sit for 2 min (about 180/190 Degrees). First steepin' was at 1 min and was killer as shit, but the second was off the chain at 30 sec! Way more mellow and easier to sip! I'll be interested how may rounds this bitch can take a steeping! More to come......................

Yo Bitch. Got all up in this shit, myself. Used water 1 min off the boil, with 1 Tbsp/8oz filtered water. Killer! Very syrupy, with a honey malt and sweet fruit aroma, and a long aftertaste.
ReplyDelete2nd (1 min)and 3rd (1.5 min) brews even better than the first. I'll probably get 2 more steepings before its spent. No doubt about it...Gong fu style rules!
ReplyDeleteYour gongfu style is WEAK, son. This tea needs boiling water and a full 5 minute steep. You know, proper British method.
